I trained as an actress at Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh in 1999 receiving a BA Acting (Distinction). During this practical course I studied many areas of theatre including vocal technique, dance, textual analysis and stage combat.
I went on to qualify as a Drama Teacher with a PGCE from Goldsmiths College, London in 2001. I have taught in Schools and Youth Theatres across the country including London, Kent, Stockton and Darlington.
I set up Identity Youth Theatre in 2013 but saw in my own children that their imaginations and capacity for creative play started at a much younger age - even before they had the words to explain the worlds they were creating. With this in mind I developed Imagine Me! running the first sessions in 2014. I love running Imagine Me! as no two sessions are the same but they are always exciting!
For your peace of mind, I have an advanced CRB and am trained in Paediatric First Aid.
